FXLION Presents Compact 98Wh Nano Pro Power Solution

At IBC 2025, Chinese company FXLION presented the XLION Nano Pro 98Wh, the latest addition to its line of compact V-mount batteries. With a capacity of 98Wh, the Nano Pro is airline-compliant and designed not only as a traditional V-mount power source but also as a versatile hub for multiple devices. The unit features dual D-Tap outputs, a 100W USB-C PD input/output, two 18W USB-C ports, a USB-A port, and the V-Mount connection itself, allowing simultaneous powering of cameras, monitors, wireless focus systems, audio devices, and even laptops or lights compatible with USB-C.

The Nano Pro integrates a concealed LCD display that provides detailed operational data, including remaining battery percentage, output voltages, estimated runtime, temperature, and wattage draw per port. Its USB-C PD interface also supports rapid charging, with the ability to recharge the battery in under an hour when paired with a sufficient power source. Alongside the battery, FXLION is offering an optional USB-C PD cable rated for 100W throughput, equipped with a miniature LCD to monitor power delivery in real time.

The Nano Pro continues the development path of FXLION’s earlier Nano series, such as the Nano One (50Wh) and Nano Two (98Wh), which were among the smallest V-mount batteries on the market. Those models provided up to 10A continuous draw, a mix of D-Tap, USB-A, USB-C and micro-USB ports, and an LCD readout for voltage and remaining capacity. Designed with compact form factors and rubber-sealed outputs, they targeted mobile filmmakers and crews requiring lightweight, adaptable power solutions.

The Nano Pro instead builds on this concept with upgraded connectivity and monitoring features: it incorporates a built-in SMBus for communication, enabling cameras to display battery status directly; its smart thermal management system stabilizes high-power USB-C output, while integrated protections safeguard against over-current, over-charge, over-discharge, and overheating. The housing combines metal with V0 flame-retardant plastic, and the design includes protective covers for input and output ports, as well as side grips for handling. The unit weighs 612 grams and measures 108.7 by 74 by 54.4 millimeters, making it compact for a sub-100Wh battery.

Charging options include PD fast charging via USB-C, which can restore capacity in about three hours with a 120W wall charger, as well as conventional V-mount charging. The Nano Pro also supports wireless timecode synchronization and is compatible with common rigging needs through 1/4-20 and 3/8-inch threaded mounting points.

The battery is priced at $199, with the optional USB-C monitoring cable available at $12.
