TTArtisan Presents New 17mm f/4 Tilt-Shift Lens
TTArtisan has released a 17mm f/4 tilt-shift lens designed for full-frame and medium-format mirrorless cameras, featuring ±8° of tilt and ±8mm of shift and an image circle of 64mm.
The Chinese company’s new lens aims to provide perspective and focus-plane control for photographers working in architecture, interiors, product imaging, or other fields where in-camera correction is preferred over post-processing. The lens’s tilt function allows adjustment of the focal plane to extend or restrict depth of field, while the shift function helps maintain parallel verticals and minimize distortion when capturing tall structures. According to TTArtisan, the two systems can’t be operated simultaneously, requiring users to set one parameter at a time.
The optical design consists of 17 elements in 11 groups, including aspherical glass to reduce aberrations and distortion. The diaphragm features ten blades, and aperture values range from f/4 to f/16, controlled by a mechanical aperture ring. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3 meters.
The lens body is made entirely of metal and includes a clicked aperture ring, engraved focus markings in metric and imperial scales, and a rotation mechanism that allows 360° movement with 15° click stops for orienting the tilt and shift axes independently.
The 64mm image circle accommodates both full-frame and Fujifilm GFX medium-format sensors, allowing coverage without significant vignetting. Owing to its optical design, the lens does not accept front filters. The front diameter measures 105mm and weighs around 1.05 kilograms, although weight varies slightly by mount.

The lens is available through TTArtisan’s online store and major retailers. Versions for Canon RF, Nikon Z, and L-Mount systems are expected to follow after the Sony E and Fujifilm GFX release. It is priced at approximately $509 (about €579).
