Lomography Reveals Simple Use Reloadable Classicolor Camera
Lomography has introduced a new version of its Simple Use Reloadable Film Camera, supplied with a roll of LomoChrome Classicolor ISO 200 film. The camera expands the company’s existing Simple Use series, which has been in production since 2017 and consists of compact 35mm cameras designed to be reused after the initial roll of film has been exposed.
The camera is delivered preloaded with a 27-exposure roll of LomoChrome Classicolor, a color negative film introduced in 2025 processed using the standard C-41 development process. According to the manufacturer, such emulsion is intended to produce relatively natural color reproduction with moderate saturation: red tones appear more pronounced, while blue and green tones remain comparatively restrained; skin tones are described as soft and warm. The film has a medium grain structure and is designed to maintain consistent color balance across different lighting conditions, appearing brighter in direct sunlight and warmer in shaded or low-light environments.
The camera itself follows the same basic design as earlier Simple Use models: it uses a fixed 31mm lens with an aperture of f/9 and a single shutter speed of 1/120 second. Focusing is fixed from approximately one meter to infinity. An included built-in flash is powered by a single AA battery, and it can be used with removable colored gel filters supplied with the camera to alter the color of the flash illumination.
The Simple Use Reloadable Film Camera LomoChrome Classicolor is also compatible with Lomography’s Analogue Aqua underwater housing, which allows the camera to be used underwater at depths of up to approximately 10 meters.

The camera body is compact enough to fit in a pocket and does not include adjustable exposure controls or manual focusing. The minimal design places most image characteristics under the control of the film stock and lighting conditions rather than the camera itself.
The camera is currently available at a retail price of about $27.90.
