Manfrotto Presents ONE Photo Tripod

Italian company Manfrotto has introduced the ONE Photo, a new tripod model within its ONE series designed specifically for still photography. The product follows the earlier ONE Hybrid tripod but removes features associated with video use, focusing instead on stability and simplified operation for photographic workflows.

“ONE Photo is a natural evolution of the ONE platform,” says Davide Acerbis, Senior Product Manager at Manfrotto. “With ONE Hybrid, we set out to solve the needs of creators working across photo and video. With ONE Photo, we focused purely on photography, optimizing the structure, control, and accessories to support accuracy, speed, and confidence in every shot. It is a tripod built to support precise composition and repeatable results.”

The tripod uses a redesigned structure intended to increase rigidity, including a non-circular leg profile aimed at improving torsional resistance. The construction is based on aluminum, and unlike the Hybrid version, no carbon fiber option is offered. The overall design indeed prioritizes stability when working with high-resolution cameras, longer lenses, or slower shutter speeds.

The ONE Photo incorporates Manfrotto’s XTEND mechanism, which allows all leg sections to extend simultaneously through a single locking action so to reduce setup time compared to traditional multi-lock designs. The tripod also includes a sliding center column that can be adjusted vertically and repositioned horizontally using the Q90 mechanism: this configuration enables shooting at low angles, overhead positions, and for macro or product photography without requiring disassembly.

The tripod supports a maximum load of approximately 12 kilograms and offers a working height range from roughly 10 centimeters to 164 centimeters. It folds down to about 65 centimeters and weighs approximately 3.1 kilograms. The legs use a three-section design with flip locks, and the platform includes a standard 3/8-inch mounting screw. An Easy Link connector is integrated into the structure, allowing additional accessories such as lights or reflectors to be attached directly to the tripod.

The ONE Photo is available in three configurations: it can be purchased as legs only or as part of kits that include either an XPRO ball head or an XPRO 3-way head. The ball head version is suited to general use, while the three-way head allows independent axis control for more controlled adjustments.

The tripod is manufactured in Italy and is available at a starting price of approximately $329.95 for the standalone version. Kits that include a head are priced at around $514.95.
