Insta360 Updates the Go Ultra With a Hello Kitty Limited Edition

Insta360 has announced a limited-edition Hello Kitty-themed bundle based on the Go Ultra action camera, developed in collaboration with Sanrio. The company describes it as the most extensive collaboration in its history, in that it encompasses custom hardware, themed physical accessories, and exclusive software features within a single package.

The camera body itself carries a two-tone pink finish, with the Hello Kitty character printed on the front of the camera unit and the iconic bow reproduced on the Action Pod’s shutter button. The rear touchscreen displays additional Hello Kitty character artwork when opened. The bundle includes three physical accessories, all in matching two-tone pink: a Mini 2-in-1 tripod with Hello Kitty’s bow on the reverse, a quick-release safety cord with a 3D bow adjustment buckle, and a large crossbody carry case embossed with Hello Kitty logo and character art.

On the software side, pairing the camera with the Insta360 app triggers an exclusive Hello Kitty connection animation. Users also receive four proprietary Hello Kitty watermarks that can be set as a default export style. Beyond the cosmetic additions, Insta360 has introduced two new imaging features specific to this bundle that are not available on the standard Go Ultra. The first is Portrait Mode 2.0, which includes built-in skin tone processing with two settings — Brighten, intended to enhance clarity, and Smooth, designed to reduce the visibility of skin imperfections. The second is an expanded filter library of eleven film-style presets intended to produce a vintage look in recorded footage.

The Go Ultra Hello Kitty bundle w priced at $570, and it had sold out on the Insta360 web store, where it was listed under the name “Sakura Pink”.
