Manfrotto Releases the Uncover Camera Bag Series

Manfrotto has announced the Uncover, a range of four bags designed for users who move between professional, creative, and casual contexts throughout the day. The lineup comprises two backpacks — at 24 and 30 liters — and two smaller carry options: a 12-liter messenger bag and a 7-liter sling. All four are built around a shared internal system and exterior material, with sizing as the primary differentiating factor between models.

The central feature of the Uncover range is the SmartLift insert, a self-contained zippered camera cube that slides in and out of each bag’s main compartment. When the insert is in place, the bag functions as a camera-ready carry solution; when removed, it becomes a general-purpose bag without visible camera-specific organization. The insert is designed to accommodate a camera body with a lens attached, along with additional small accessories. The two backpacks use a roll-top design that allows the main compartment to expand beyond its rated volume for bulkier items such as clothing.

All four bags use an exterior fabric Manfrotto calls TriTex, described as a custom three-layer material intended to balance durability, water resistance, and appearance. The base panels are coated for additional abrasion and moisture resistance, and the zippers are YKK water-resistant units throughout. Back panels on all models include ventilation channels, and shoulder straps are padded. A laser-cut FlexGrid panel on the front of each bag accepts hook-and-loop compatible accessories for external customization. Dedicated internal pockets sized for AirTag trackers are included. Side access on the backpacks allows the main compartment to be reached without fully opening the roll-top closure.

The Uncover range is available now. The 7-liter sling is priced at $140, the 12-liter messenger at $180, the 24-liter backpack at $300, and the 30-liter backpack at $330.
