Polaroid and The Pokémon Company have announced a limited-edition product collaboration timed to the thirtieth anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The collection comprises nine products, including three special-edition cameras, two film packs, and several accessories.

The camera lineup consists of three models: two are themed versions of the Go Generation 3, the small-format instant camera Polaroid launched in June 2026, which uses Go film producing prints with an image area of 47 × 46mm on a 53.9 × 66.6mm paper. The Pikachu edition adopts the character’s yellow colorway, features a Poké Ball-shaped shutter release button, Pikachu graphics across the body, and a wrist strap designed to reference the character’s lightning bolt-shaped tail. The Sylveon edition uses the fairy-type Pokémon’s pink, white, and blue color palette, though without a character-specific strap. Both cameras are functionally identical to the standard Go Generation 3, using the same 64mm polycarbonate lens with f/14.4 and f/32 apertures and a built-in Xenon flash. The third camera is a Poké Ball-themed edition of the Polaroid Now Generation 3, a larger instant camera launched in March 2025 that uses i-Type and 600 film, producing prints with an image area of approximately 78 × 78mm. The body is red and white with the Pokémon wordmark on the front.

The film accessories extend the collaboration to characters not represented in the camera designs. The i-Type film pack includes dark slides and color-matched bordered prints featuring Snorlax, Gengar, Togepi, and Charmander. Go film double packs are available in Pikachu and Sylveon editions. Additional accessories include a Poké Ball-shaped camera case, a Poké Ball-shaped photo album, and a camera strap compatible with all three cameras.
