Ali IHTIYAR, Canadian photographer and film maker born and based in Turkey He received a Master’s in Fine Arts, Film & TV Production from Marmara University (Istanbul). He was director or photography director in numerous group projects. For over 20 years, he worked on documentaries, commercials and photo shoots, including the album covers of Kalan Music (notably Djivan Gasparyan and Erkan Ogur). The Hollywood International Film Festival selected his “Pencere” (Window) as the Best Foreign Film (2004); Sony World Photography awards shortlisted him (2008), His photos were published numerous festivals and competitions around the World. His photo projects also awarded with Canada council art and Quebec council art. 2014, his short movie, There is a thief was presented in Montreal world film festival. He recently took first place with his photo in I-SHOT-IT premium Competition.
