I was born in 1980 in Sevastopol, Crimea. I graduated from the Philosophy faculty of Moscow State University (MSU). Later I was admitted to the All-Russian state institute of cinematography of S.A. Gerasimov (VGIK) on the course of film studies. I am a self-taught photographer. I travel across small towns of Russia outside the main highways and take photos of old buildings, houses and people who live there without detachment from their roots.
