Hasan Saifuddin Chandan, popularly known as Hasan Chandan, has been working with different apprehensions of photography in Bangladesh since 1983. He is teaching in the Bangladesh Photographic Insttute, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), University of Asia Pacific (UAP) since 1991. His photographs have been highly appreciated at home and abroad. Specialist collectons of his five years of documentaton work in Kamalapur Railway Staton, Dhaka from 1989 to 1994, brought a breathtaking photobook The People at Kamalapur Railway Staton. He is doing architectural photography since 1998 and probably the first Architecture Photographer in the country recognized by the Insttute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB). He completed a basic photography course in Begart Insttute of Photography in 1981.
