Bikram Sarkar was born and brought up in a middle class family in a small village of Bankura district in West Begal , the village  where Bikram still has his roots attached to is known by the name of Beliatore.He is the only child to his parents. He completed his schooling from Beliatore High school and thereafter completed his Btech in Computer Science from the renowned Bankura Engineering College. He was always very fond of his grandmother , she used to tell him uncountable stories during his childhood days. The simple way of story telling always attracted him and for the same reason even after completing his MBA in Advertising he joined the legendary thespian Badal Sarkar’s group Satabdi and took part in Street Theatre. Bikram tries to capture  moments through his mobile camera, and these moments tells the simple stories of our daily life. He is now a freelancer in the  Media Industry and thus lives in Kolkata but he never misses the chance of visiting  Beliatore in frequent intervals where his parents are living .
