As a teenager, I moved from California to Germany and became immersed in European languages and cultures. This has made me a lifelong observer of people and places and how they interact. I discovered photography after working as a translator and then moving to San Francisco and becoming a psychotherapist. The pandemic drew me outside to wander the streets of my city, where each neighborhood has a unique culture. I love to explore the social and cultural landscapes of cities, always looking for the beautiful in the ordinary, the magical in the mundane, and the humanity we all share.
