7Artisans has introduced the AF 10mm f/2.8, an autofocus ultra-wide-angle lens designed for APS-C mirrorless cameras, available for Fujifilm X, Sony E, and Nikon Z mounts.

The lens features an optical design of 11 elements in 10 groups, including two aspherical, three extra-low dispersion, and two high refractive index elements. Its 10mm focal length provides a rectilinear field of view equivalent to 15mm on full-frame cameras, offering an angle of view of approximately 105 degrees. The seven-blade diaphragm’s aperture ranges from f/2.8, supporting low-light use and astrophotography, to f/22. The minimum focusing distance is 0.2 meters.

Autofocus is driven by a quiet motor, and users can switch to manual focus when required. The lens includes a full set of electronic contacts and a USB-C port for firmware updates.

Physically, the AF 10mm f/2.8 is compact and lightweight, measuring around 72mm in length and weighing approximately 232 grams in its E-mount version. The all-metal body includes a rubber-sealed metal bayonet mount that provides limited dust and moisture resistance. The lens accepts 62mm front filters, a feature not always found in ultra-wide designs.
