Devin Oktar Yalkın: Alone Together (One Last Trip Around the Garden)
ZONE has published Alone Together (One Last Trip Around the Garden), an introspective photographic monograph by Devin Oktar Yalkın meditating on the loss of home and the longing that follows.
Set in the family house in Brigantine, New Jersey, the book unfolds through a series of monochrome images tracing the subtle remnants of a life once lived there. Haunting and contemplative, Alone Together explores themes of impermanence and renewal, revealing how domestic spaces — once filled with emotion and daily routine — gradually become vessels of memory. The work is a quiet yet profound reminder of how spaces hold us long after we have gone, and how, in turn, we carry them with us.
