Godox Announces iT30 Pro Mini TTL Flash

Godox has introduced the iT30 Pro Flash, its most compact (and then portable) TTL flash to date. The flash weighs 120 grams and measures only 65 x 46 x 47 millimeters, about a quarter the size of a standard speedlight. Despite its size, it delivers a guide number of 15 (ISO 100, full power) and supports a wide array of advanced features typically found in larger units.

The iT30 Pro is compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, and Olympus/Panasonic camera systems, offering tailored versions for each brand. It supports TTL auto-exposure, high-speed sync up to 1/8000s (with Sony models supporting up to 1/80000s for global shutter sync), front and rear curtain sync, multi-mode stroboscopic firing, and flash exposure compensation. The unit features a 1.5-second recycle time and delivers up to 560 full-power flashes per charge from its built-in 7.2V, 900mAh lithium battery, which charges via USB-C. The USB-C port also enables firmware updates.

Equipped with the Godox 2.4GHz X wireless system, the iT30 Pro functions as both a Master and Receiver, allowing integration into multi-light setups. The flash provides wireless control with a range of up to 100 meters, operating across 32 channels and four groups. It also includes a 2.5mm sync port for wired connections.

User interaction is streamlined through a 2.8-inch full-colour touchscreen and a rotary dial, offering quick access to settings and adjustments. A flip-out built-in diffuser softens light output, reducing the need for external modifiers. A newly designed quick-release foot also enables fast and secure mounting to camera hot shoes.

Available in black or silver, the Godox iT30 Pro is priced at approximately $75 and is currently available for pre-order, but according to the company pricing may vary by region due to tax and VAT differences. An official release date has yet to be confirmed.
