Godox Releases M300R RGBWW LED Light
Godox has expanded its KNOWLED lighting series with the introduction of the M300R, an RGBWW LED fixture designed for film, television and studio production. Positioned as a mid-range unit within the KNOWLED lineup, the M300R supports a correlated color temperature (CCT) range of 1,800K to 10,000K and features full RGB color control via HSI, enabling precise tuning of hue, saturation and intensity.
The M300R integrates an RGBWW LED chipset and offers several professional color modes including CCT, HSI, RGBW, GEL, X-Y and FX. Additional features include ±100% green/magenta shift and dimming capabilities down to 0.1%. The fixture delivers a light output of up to 101,000 lux at a distance of one meter when used with its included 30° reflector, and according to manufacturer data measured at 1 meter without modifiers, the red, green and blue output levels are 3,450 lux, 7,270 lux and 2,070 lux respectively. These output values place the fixture in the performance category typically associated with 600W-class LED lights.
The build of the M300R consists of a metal housing rated IP54 for dust and water resistance: the light head weighs 3.6 kilograms without the yoke and includes a compact yoke with quick-release locking. The unit is compatible with both AC power and V-mount batteries, making it suitable for both studio and field applications.
Control interfaces include onboard operation, CRMX wireless, DMX, Ethernet and Bluetooth via the KNOWLED app, while Bowens S-mount allows compatibility with various light modifiers. Available accessories include softboxes, projection attachments, BeamLight reflectors and Pro Beauty Dishes, with additional options under development.
The M300R is built for integration within the broader Godox KNOWLED ecosystem, which includes high-output fixtures such as the MG1200Bi/R, MG2400Bi/R and MG6K. The standard M300R unit is priced at $1,529 USD, while the travel kit version, which includes a carry case, is offered at $1,599 USD.
