Nanlite Launches Pico Pocket RGBW LED Light
Nanlite has introduced the Pico, a compact RGBW LED light designed for creators, photographers and filmmakers requiring a portable lighting solution. Weighing 130 grams, the fixture integrates Nanlite’s Nebula C4 light engine and offers full RGBW control, including 0–360° hue and 0–100% saturation adjustment. Color temperature is adjustable from 2700K to 7500K, with an additional ±150 green/magenta shift. The unit achieves an output of 4,211 lux at 0.3 meters when set to 5600K.
Color accuracy is rated with a CRI/TLCI of 95 and TM-30 Rf/Rg scores of 92 and 99. The Pico includes 14 preset lighting effects—such as fire, storm and emergency lights—all of which can be modified via onboard controls or through the Nanlink App version 2.0, which enables Bluetooth-based wireless operation and firmware updates.
The light is powered by a built-in 1500mAh lithium battery, delivering between 1.3 and 6.5 hours of runtime depending on brightness settings. It features a real-time display that indicates the remaining battery life. The USB-C port supports both recharging and continuous power from external sources such as wall adapters or power banks.
The mounting system includes a 12-position yoke with 30-degree tilt increments, a 1/4″-20 thread and a magnetic base that allows attachment to flat metal surfaces. A cold shoe adapter is also included for mounting on camera rigs, as well as a snap-on magnetic diffuser for quick softening of the light output.
The control interface is minimal, consisting of one knob, two buttons and a 1.28-inch circular display. All major settings—brightness, color temperature, hue, saturation and effects—can be adjusted directly from the unit.
The Pico is available in two colors, mint blue and midnight blue, and is constructed for use in mobile or constrained shooting environments. It is available now at a retail price of $34.90 USD.
