I am an artist who dreams of a new world of photography, an active member of THE PHOTO ARTISTS SOCIETY OF KOREA. I sympathize deeply with the words of the unprecedented photographer Alfred Stieglitz, “Until I die, I am an amateur.” My decision to participate in Exibart Street Photography Contest stems from these questions to myself: “Have I been searching for something too special until now?” “Have I been trying too hard to look special?” “Were all these efforts just a limitation that I’ve set for myself?” I want to show the world the simplicity of the neighborhood I live in, leaving behind my wanderings for only special compositions, materials, and places.
