Ugur Atay was born in Fındıklı (Turkey) in 1985. He took his first photo at the age of seven with Lubitel 166. After getting a Zenit 122 in 2004 he acquired an interest in photography.He studied Theater at Academy Istanbul in Turkey before he moved to Vienna, where he continues his education at the Faculty of Social Sciences at University of Vienna.
