Pergear has introduced two new CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory cards as part of its Master Series, available in 512GB and 1TB capacities. These cards offer claimed maximum read and write speeds of 3,500 MB/s and 3,400 MB/s, respectively. The 512GB version is rated for a minimum sustained write speed of 800 MB/s, while the 1TB model is rated at 1,500 MB/s. Both are advertised as capable of handling high-bitrate 4K and 8K video recording, including RAW formats, without frame drops.

Beyond speed, the memory cards are claimed to be constructed for durability: the company states they are shockproof, waterproof, X-ray-proof and resistant to extreme temperatures, nevertheless offering an included five-year warranty.

The cards are compatible with a wide range of professional camera systems from Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic and DJI. However, current cameras do not yet support the CFexpress 4.0 standard, meaning the full speed potential of these cards can only be utilized during file transfers, provided the user employs a CFexpress 4.0-compatible card reader, that Pergear offers for an additional cost.
