Delkin Devices has announced the Valor PRO, a CFexpress 4.0 Type B memory card designed, assembled, and tested at the company’s facility in Poway, California. The manufacturing location is a deliberate differentiator: where most competing CFexpress cards are produced in Asia, Delkin is positioning the Valor PRO as a US-assembled product built to IPC Class 3 workmanship standards — the highest classification defined by the Institute of Printed Circuits, typically associated with aerospace, medical, and other mission-critical applications. The more common standard for commercial electronics is IPC Class 2. Each card undergoes an industrial underfill process that bonds memory components directly to the circuit board, increasing resistance to drops, shock, and vibration.

On performance, the Valor PRO is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 3,700 MB/s and write speeds of up to 2,800 MB/s, with sustained write speeds of 1,840 MB/s. It carries VPG800 certification, the CFexpress Association’s designation guaranteeing a minimum sustained write floor of 800 MB/s under continuous stress — the same certification level recently introduced by ProGrade Digital on its Iridium CFexpress 4.0 Type A cards. The Valor PRO is compatible with all CFexpress Type B cameras from manufacturers including Blackmagic Design, Canon, DJI, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, and RED, allowing the card to be used across different production platforms without format restrictions.

The warranty and support package is notably comprehensive: Delkin includes a 48-hour replacement guarantee — a replacement unit ships before the original is returned, with shipping covered by Delkin in both directions — alongside a limited lifetime warranty, free image and video recovery service, and US- and UK-based technical support.
