Godox Announced a New X2T Wireless Flash TTL Trigger

Godox has announced the new X2T, a wireless flash trigger that builds upon the success of the X1T with an improved user interface, a larger display, and the introduction of Bluetooth.

Using the built-in wireless radio system, the X2T works in tandem with Godox flashes, providing stable and reliable signal transmission that ensures all your gear stays in communication at all times.

The trigger features 5 dedicated group setting buttons on top and 3 function buttons on the back that allow photographers to make adjustments quickly — by comparison, the X1T featured fewer buttons and required more adjustments to be made through the display.

The dial on the device has been moved to a lower position on the bottom left-hand corner, allowing more of the back to be used for the larger LCD panel.

These buttons, as well as the function buttons, are all backlit, making them also easy to use in the dark.

Godox has introduced Bluetooth support in the X2T. Photographers can use iOS and Android smartphones and tablets to connect to the trigger. Then, using the GodoxPhoto app, you’ll be able to control flash mode, power output, modeling light mode, the beep, and more, all from your smart device.

Transmission range is approximately up to 100m. The X2T features 32 channels, 5 groups and up to 99 wireless ID settings. It can be used to trigger Canon, Nikon and Sony speedlights, and also as a shutter release trigger for Canon, Nikon and Sony cameras.
