Kolor’s Fall/Winter 2021 Collection Captured by Daido Moriyama

The well-known photographer reinterprets the autumn-winter 2021/22 collection of the Junichi Abe brand, Kolor. The project is called “撮”, meaning “(photo) shooting”.

The 43 images from this project will be exhibited in eight stores in Asia, starting October 16 Kolor talks about itself under a new lens. To convey an unprecedented dimension of the collection, the brand revisits the autumn-winter 2021/22 through the eyes of the world-famous photographer Daido Moriyama who influenced and inspired the designer of the Junichi Abe brand. For the artist, it is a rare opportunity to collaborate with the fashion world (previously he shot for Saint Laurent and for the streetwear reality Wacko Maria).

This photoshoot took place in the new Kolor atelier in Tokyo, surrounded by elements that represent the spirit of the brand, the photographer shot the collection according to his personal feeling and style. Moriyama made her own contribution to the collection which was presented for the first time during the Paris men’s fashion week on January 21st.
The photos of this project will be exhibited in eight stores in Asia: five Kolor flagship stores in Japan, 10 Corso Como Seoul Avenuel, Korea, and the two Onefifteen stores in Taiwan.
