Lexar Introduces New CFexpress Type B Gold Series Memory Cards

New CFexpress Type B Gold Series memory cards from Lexar have been released, with capacities ranging from 128GB to 2TB. The new CFexpress Type B Gold Series cards are available alongside Lexar’s current CFexpress Type B Diamond Series cards. The former provides larger capacity options at cheaper pricing in exchange for a minimal reduction in minimum sustained performance.
The new Lexar Gold Series cards, intended for creative professionals, promise faster speeds for the existing 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models. These cards can now read and write data at 1,900 and 1,500 MB/s. The minimum sustained write speed is 1,300 MB/s, just 300 MB/s slower than the minimum sustained write speed provided by Lexar’s Diamond Series cards, the company’s top-of-the-line cards.

The two greatest capacities of the Lexar Professional CFexpress Type B Gold Series cards are extremely quick. All of the cards in the series can record 8K RAW videos without the risk of frame drops, though. Each card also guarantees tough resilience and defense against the elements, such as extremely high or low temperatures, shocks, and vibration.

The CFexpress Type B card market is getting busier, and Lexar’s new Gold Series cards are adding. The new cards from Lexar are reasonably priced, and the 1TB and 2TB capacities are a little out of the ordinary.

A lifetime warranty is offered on all Lexar cards. Additionally, it should be emphasized that all memory cards, not just Lexar’s, are quoted performance standards based on internal experiments that are virtually impossible to duplicate in real-world scenarios. Nevertheless, Lexar has been a major player in the storage industry for a while. Its new cards should perform excellently even if consumers cannot achieve the stated speeds.

Priced at $200, $300, and $390, respectively, for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.
