Motorola Launches “One Hyper” with 64MP Camera and 32MP Frontal Cam

The latest entry in the Motorola One range has been announced and it might be the most exciting one yet, as the phone – dubbed the Motorola One Hyper – that features a 64-megapixel rear camera and a pop-up selfie camera with a 32-megapixel sensor. The name comes from its 45W hyper charging. Motorola claims 38 hours of battery life with continuous use since it has a 4,000mAh battery.

Both lenses are designed to perform well in low light, and they’re not the only highlights of the Motorola One Hyper, as it also has a 6.5-inch 1080 x 2340 LCD screen with 395 pixels per inch. And thanks to using a pop-up selfie camera you get an almost all-screen front, with a 90% screen to body ratio. Even though the phone doesn’t have a notch, the renders still show a little chin on the bottom.

The main camera offers users a choice of the 64-megapixel sensor or a secondary 16-megapixel sensor, both of which use a f/1.9 aperture. A further 8-megapixel rear-facing camera is fitted with a wide-angle lens that has an angle of view of 118° — about 13mm on a full-frame camera — and an aperture of f/2.2.
On the front, there’s a 32-megapixel pop-up selfie camera which also takes 16-megapixel quad-pixel stills.

The rear camera can shoot RAW files as well as jpegs, and offers auto modes that shoot when a smile or a wave is detected and will also suggest modes according to what its AI thinks the subject is. Video can be recorded in 4K at 30p and FHD at up to 60p, while slow-motion modes are also available.

Speaking of performance, that’s not the bright side of this smartphone. It has a Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Also, there’s a fingerprint on the back and everyone’s favorite, 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Motorola One Hyper has both a USB-C port, features NFC and Bluetooth 5.0, and can take on a full day’s charge in ten minutes using the optional 45W charger.

Even though it’s a mid-ranger, Motorola One Hyper runs Android 10 which is a plus point as compared to a lot of flagship phones. Motorola One Hyper costs $399.
