Art on Postcard is holding a secret auction of Urban Contemporary Art and Street Photography – hosted by online auction house Paddle8 and exhibited at Old Spitalfields Market.

Curated by iconic street artist Ben Eine and street photographer Dougie Wallace, it has an impressive line up so far including Anthony Lister, Vhils, Ed Kashi, Melanie Einzig, Shok1, Sandra Chevrier, Lady Pink and many more. The works have been carefully curated to include some of the most collectible and interesting contemporary urban artists practicing today.

The secret summer auction presents a unique chance to own signed mini-masterpieces by well-known artists and photographers. The philosophy of Art on Postcard is to democratize the art market experience by placing all the artists and photographers on a level playing field and starting off the bidding at the same price of just £50. Each 10 x 15cm work will be up for anonymous auction with the names revealed the day after the auction ends meaning the buyers will be in for some happy surprises.

100% proceeds donated to The Hepatitis C Trust to help them in their aim to eliminate hepatitis C in the UK by 2025.

Auction runs 26 June – 10 July 2019 on Paddle8.
Exhibition – 2 – 7 July 2019 at Old Spitalfields Market, London.

Art on a Postcard work with the world’s leading artists to raise money for The Hepatitis C Trust.
In 2014 Art on a Postcard was only ever intended to be a one off Secret Postcard Auction, but it went so well it’s spawned a small industry. We are now several auctions down the line and have a sister event, Photography on a Postcard which is the official charity of Photo London. We also produce a line of limited edition prints as well as boxsets of each year’s favorite postcards.

Artists who have taken part include Damien Hirst, Grayson Perry CBE, RA, Marina Abramovic, Harland Miller, and Cicely Brown. Photographers who have taken part include Martin Parr, Wolfgang Tillmans, and Es Devlin.
