I took the photo in Grado, a seaside resort in Italy. I had noticed the man who was attempting to blow his son’s inflatable boat, putting his head inside it for a better result. In the shot I tried to capture the moment when the head completely disappears in the inflatable, thus creating a grotesque and almost caricatural image.
