A woman preparing supper for her family in a remote hamlet in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir region of northern India. The cuisine in these areas is very simple – maize bread(the only crop grown in region because of lack of water in winters), simple seasonal vegetable cooked in mustard oil, green chilly pickle and butter milk. The fare is completely organic and healthy.
