This photo is of world famous Ganga Aarti of Varanasi. The aarti ceremony is held every evening at the bank of river Ganga in many ghats of Varanasi. In these ceremony after aarti the priests offers petals of flower to river Ganga. River Ganga is treated as giving salvation to the devotees.
