Roasted chestnuts and corn on the cob are a popular winter-time treat in Greece. During the holidays, street vendors take out their grills in main streets and sell these treats offering a tasty delicacy as well as a couple of minutes of relief from the heavy cold, while the customer waits in line, in front of the hot grill.
