Hi, my name is Jan and I am a streetphotographer and visual storyteller from Hamburg, Germany. My photographic approach is driven by finding emotions in the cold and hostile city, enjoying and capturing the beauty of the little moments of human warmth and interpersonal connection, telling the story of which. Lately I added a more minimalistic style to my photographic repertoire, integrating silhouettes and only a small amount of human detail into the frame. Since February 2021 I am a proud member of Streetcollective.Hamburg. In the past I was honoured to get chosen as a finalist and semifinalist in multiple national and international streetphotography competitions like the Urban Photo Awards and 24hoursproject which led my work to get exhibited in Germany, Italy, France, Finland and Hong Kong so far.
