American company Think Tank Photo has introduced the PhotoCross V2 Sling series, a set of camera bags designed for outdoor use and built around a single-strap configuration. The lineup includes two variants with capacities of 11 and 14 liters, both intended to provide rapid access to equipment without requiring the user to remove the bag.

The design differs from traditional backpacks by using a single padded shoulder strap combined with a stabilizing waist component. This allows the bag to be rotated from the back to the front, where a side-access opening provides direct entry to the main compartment. Compared to the previous version, the updated model incorporates a revised strap system with improved ventilation and adjustments to the waist support for better load distribution during extended use.

The construction uses reinforced synthetic materials, including Cordura and ripstop nylon, alongside weather-resistant zippers and a seam-sealed rain cover. The side access panel has been redesigned with rounded edges and updated YKK AquaGuard closures, intended to improve handling during one-handed operation. Additional external features include a stretch pocket for a water bottle or compact tripod, front attachment points for accessories, and compatibility with clip-based carrying systems mounted on the shoulder strap.

Internally, the PhotoCross V2 Sling uses a modular layout with adjustable padded dividers to accommodate different camera and lens configurations. The smaller 11-liter version is sized for a standard full-frame camera with an attached zoom lens and several additional lenses, while the 14-liter version is designed to carry a larger kit, including multiple fast zoom lenses. Both versions also include dedicated compartments for small accessories and personal items.The bags weigh just under 1kg for the smaller model and slightly over for the larger one, including accessories such as dividers and rain protection.
