Chinese optics manufacturer TTArtisans has announced the release of an extremely affordable manual-focus, clicked-aperture 50mm f/1.2 APS-C lens for Sony E-Mount, Canon M-Mount, Fuji X-Mount, and Micro Four Thirds.
Supporting multiple mounts, the 50mm f/1.2 has an external, clicked aperture ring with a range for f/1.2 through f/16. The fully-manual lens is constructed of seven optical elements in five groups and features an all-metal design. The lens uses a ten-blade aperture diaphragm and uses a 52mm front filter thread. It has a close focusing distance of half a meter.
The lens measures 60mm long, 62mm in diameter. Because it’s small, compact, and lacks any extra features, it weighs only 336 grams.
