the day of Christmas Eve, in a small town in Molise, Oratino, a ritual takes place between the sacred and the profane. It is the “Faglia”. A large torch of reeds is transported throughout the country and then raised in front of the church and lit. the fire will then accompany the citizens throughout the Christmas night.
