Lupo Unveils the Kickasspanel RGBWW Led Light

Italian lighting specialized manufacturer Lupo, a company that has been making lights since 1932 and focused on LED lights for 11 years now, has just launched a new RGBWW on-camera LED fixture: the Lupo Kickasspanel Full Color.
The Kickasspanel is a light that rocks, with its ridiculous amount of output: 2100 Lux at a distance of 1m. It practically emits the same amount of light as some 1×1 LED panels on the market which are priced three to five times higher.

This panel is an RGBWW light, which uses red, green, blue, warm white, and cold white LEDs to produce light. Thanks to that technology, in CCT mode, the light can go from 2800K all the way up to 10.000K, with green/magenta adjustment.

As said before, the maximum brightness of the Kickasspanel is 2100 Lux at 1m, which is pretty impressive for a 180 x 120 x 45 mm that tips the scale at just 530g. CRI is 96 and TLCI is 98, which is of course impressive.

But here another fun fact: this output is coming from a light that draws just 20W.
You can power the Lupo Kickasspanel via its built-in Sony NP-F battery slot. The light also comes with a USB Type-C cable to juice it through a power bank, and you can purchase an optional D-Tap to barrel connector (5.5 x 2.1mm OD standard) cable if you want to run the light of a V-Mount/Gold Mount battery.

Key features:

  • 2800 to 10000K Color Temperature
  • 96 CRI and 98 TLCI
  • 2100 lux at 3.3′ Distance
  • RGBWW & CCT Modes
  • Gel Presets & Special Effects Modes
  • L-Series Plate, AC/DC, USB Type-C Inputs

The Lupo Kickasspanel Full Color is now available to pre-order for $298.00. It comes with a ball head, a USB Type-C cable, and a diffuser.
