Nitecore, recognized for its innovative rechargeable batteries and camera accessories, has introduced the second iteration of its rechargeable air duster and camera sensor cleaning, the BlowerBaby 2.

A must-have for photographers who need to keep their equipment as clean as possible is the latest electronic air duster made especially for cameras and fragile electronics. Starting with a 33.6-watt high-power engine that can remove dust at rates of up to 49.7 miles per hour on its highest setting, the new BB2 boasts several advancements over its predecessor. On a single charge, the device can be used up to 800 times. The walkie-talkie-like ultra-compact device is designed to blend in discretely with any existing gear package, giving creatives the option to guarantee their lenses and camera sensors are spotless wherever they are.

The new features that have been included to this edition have been thoughtfully designed based on user feedback to provide all the functionality that creatives require. The BB2 has three wind speed settings, including a quiet mode at 18.5 mph, an optical speed at 34 mph, and finally, a top speed of 49.7 mph for vigorous cleaning and dusting; however, it is otherwise similar to the first model.

In addition to having variable duster speeds, the upgraded model has a built-in LED light to aid illuminate the cleaning area, a magnetic quick-release brush for cleaning camera bodies, and an optional lens cleaning brush.

The company claims that the BB2 also has an enhanced battery with a capacity that is around 30% greater than that of its predecessor and charges completely from empty in only about an hour. Additionally, the magnetic cleaning brush is reusable and detachable, allowing customers always to guarantee that their gadgets are receiving the best care possible.
